Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 4, 2026

The short version

Cresta is an empty player: it ships with no channels, no streams, and no content of any kind. You connect your own IPTV service, and you are responsible for having the right to access whatever you play through it. Use it lawfully, and it's provided “as is.”

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Cresta application for Apple platforms and the CrestaXR application for Meta Quest (together, the “App”), published by Play Cresta (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. What Cresta is

Cresta is a general-purpose media player. It lets you connect an IPTV source that you supply — such as an Xtream Codes account, an M3U/M3U8 playlist, or a Stalker portal — and then browse and play that source with a richer interface, including program-guide, favorites, search, and artwork features.

3. No content — and your responsibility for it

The App contains no media content. We do not provide, host, curate, bundle, resell, or have any control over any channel, stream, film, series, or other content. The App is a neutral tool, comparable to a web browser or media player, that displays only what your chosen source delivers.

You are solely responsible for:

  • The IPTV source, playlist, or portal you add to the App.
  • Holding a valid, lawful subscription or other right to access the content that source provides.
  • Complying with all applicable laws and with the terms of your content provider.

You must not use the App to access, stream, copy, or distribute content you do not have the legal right to use, or in any way that infringes the intellectual-property or other rights of any third party. We do not condone and are not responsible for any unlawful or infringing use.

4. No affiliation or endorsement

We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any IPTV provider, broadcaster, network, studio, or content owner. All trademarks, service marks, channel names, and content are the property of their respective owners. Any such names that appear come from the source you connect, not from us.

5. License to use the App

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and to the rules of the app store from which you obtained the App.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful, infringing, or fraudulent purpose;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law;
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the App;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App or the servers and networks of any third-party service.

7. Third-party services

The App interacts with third-party services that you choose or that provide metadata, including your IPTV provider, The Movie Database (TMDb), and any program-guide source you configure. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them. This product uses the TMDb API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDb.

8. Parental controls

The App includes an adult-content filter that is enabled by default and an optional parental PIN. These are aids, not guarantees, and their effectiveness depends in part on the metadata provided by your source. You are responsible for supervising use of the App by minors.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with any particular source, or that any content from your source will be available or lawful.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Play Cresta and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App or any content accessed through it. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the App, if any.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including content responsibility, disclaimers, and limitations of liability — will survive.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Play Cresta is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above, and continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
